General Terms and Conditions

I. Introductory Provisions and Service Provider Identification

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") govern the mutual rights and obligations between Black Holding s.r.o. (hereinafter "Lessor") and natural or legal persons (hereinafter "Lessee") arising from vehicle rental and related services.

These GTC are an integral part of every vehicle rental contract concluded via the website blackrent.sk, by phone or in person at any of the Lessor's locations.

By confirming the order or signing the rental contract, the Lessee confirms that they have familiarized themselves with these GTC and agree to them in full.

III. Vehicle Rental Conditions

3.1. Driver Requirements

The driver must meet the following conditions:

• Minimum age 21 years (25 years for some vehicle categories)
• Valid category B driver's license for at least 2 years
• Valid ID card or passport
• Credit or debit card in the driver's name

3.2. Ordering Method

Orders can be placed:

• Via the website blackrent.sk
• By phone at +421 910 666 949
• By email at info@blackrent.sk
• In person at any location

3.3. Order Confirmation

After receiving the order, the Lessor will send the Lessee a confirmation to the email address with reservation details. The rental contract is created by signing at vehicle pickup and payment of the required amount.

IV. Prices, Payments and Deposit

4.1. Price List

Current rental prices are listed on the website blackrent.sk. Prices include:

• Vehicle rental for the agreed period
• Mandatory contractual insurance (MCI)
• Comprehensive insurance with deductible
• Daily kilometer quota (according to tariff)
• Basic vehicle equipment

4.2. Payment Method

Payment can be made:

• By payment card online when ordering
• By payment card at vehicle pickup
• By bank transfer (for corporate clients)
• In cash (within the limit set by law)

4.3. Deposit

4.4. Surcharges

• Excess kilometers: according to tariff stated in contract per each additional km
• Additional driver: €5 / day
• Child seat: €5 / day
• GPS navigation: €5 / day
• Delivery/pickup outside location: according to distance
• Late return: hourly rate or full day rental
• Surcharge for returning vehicle at different location: by agreement

V. Vehicle Pickup and Return

5.1. Vehicle Pickup

At vehicle pickup, the Lessee is obliged to:

• Present valid driver's license and ID card
• Sign the rental contract and handover protocol
• Pay the rental price and deposit
• Check the vehicle condition and confirm it by signing the protocol
• Familiarize themselves with vehicle operation and specifications

5.2. Vehicle Return

At vehicle return:

• Vehicle must be returned at the agreed location and time
• Vehicle must be clean (exterior and interior) and undamaged
• Tank must be filled to the level at pickup
• All documents, keys and accessories must be returned

VI. Lessee's Obligations

The Lessee is obliged to:

• Use the vehicle exclusively for the purposes for which it is intended
• Comply with traffic rules
• Maintain the vehicle in proper technical condition
• Check the condition of operating fluids
• Park the vehicle in safe places
• Protect the vehicle from theft (locking, not leaving keys in the vehicle)
• Immediately report any damage, accident or theft
• Allow only persons listed in the contract to drive the vehicle

6.2. Prohibited Use of Vehicle

It is prohibited:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Using the vehicle for racing or competition purposes
• Transporting dangerous substances
• Towing other vehicles or trailers (unless agreed)
• Traveling abroad with the vehicle without written consent of the Lessor
• Providing the vehicle to third parties or subletting it
• Making any modifications to the vehicle
• Smoking in the vehicle
• Transporting animals without a carrier or without prior consent

VII. Insurance and Liability for Damage

7.1. Vehicle Insurance

All vehicles are insured:

• MCI – Mandatory Contractual Liability Insurance
• Comprehensive Insurance – coverage of vehicle damage with Lessee's deductible

7.2. Deductible

In case of vehicle damage, the Lessee bears a deductible in the amount stated in the rental contract. The Lessee has the option to reduce or eliminate the deductible by purchasing extended insurance.

7.3. Insurance Exclusions

The Lessee bears full liability for damage caused by:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Gross violation of traffic rules
• Negligence or intentional damage
• Using the vehicle in violation of these GTC
• Loss of keys, documents or accessories
• Interior damage (smoking, soiling)
• Damage to undercarriage, tires, rims and glass (if not covered by insurance)

VIII. Order Cancellation

The Lessee may cancel the order under the following conditions:

Cancellation must be made in writing by email to info@blackrent.sk or by phone at +421 910 666 949.

IX. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

In case of dissatisfaction with services, the Lessee has the right to file a complaint in writing to the company address or by email to info@blackrent.sk.

The Lessor is obliged to handle the complaint no later than 30 days from its receipt.

Details on the complaint procedure are governed by our Complaints Policy.

In case of a consumer dispute, the consumer has the right to turn to an alternative dispute resolution entity under Act No. 391/2015 Coll. A list of entities is available on the website of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.

X. Consumer Protection and Contract Withdrawal

10.1. Consumer Information

In accordance with § 1820 et seq. of the Civil Code and Act No. 102/2014 Coll. on Consumer Protection in the sale of goods or provision of services based on a contract concluded at a distance, we inform that:

• The service is provided by the company stated above
• The total price including all fees is stated before order confirmation
• Payment is possible by methods stated in Art. IV
• The service is provided at the agreed time
• Rights from defective performance are governed by the Complaints Policy

10.2. Contract Withdrawal

XI. Personal Data Protection

Processing of the Lessee's personal data is governed by Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these GTC. By submitting the order, the Lessee confirms that they have familiarized themselves with it and agree to it.

XII. Final Provisions

These GTC become valid and effective on the day of their publication on the website blackrent.sk.

The Lessor reserves the right to unilaterally change these GTC. Changes become effective on the day of their publication. For the current reservation, the version of GTC effective at the time of its creation always applies.

If any provision of these GTC is or becomes invalid, ineffective or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of other provisions.

Relations not governed by these GTC are governed by the relevant legal regulations of the Slovak Republic, in particular the Civil Code, Commercial Code and Consumer Protection Act.

In case of a dispute, the court of the Slovak Republic has jurisdiction.
